Naylor’s Finance business processes were primarily paper based. With the majority of their staff working remotely to collect payments from customers. These workers would visit the office once a week and leave with large piles of paper containing customer information. Payments collected would be written on these pieces of paper and upon returning to the office, these payments were entered into their outdated electronic system. Not only was this inefficient but it also had the downside of not being able to update information in real time and adapt to changing circumstances.
To create a suite of software applications for internal office use and Android applications for their remote workers. Allowing the remote workers to access updates in real time and for their payments to be instantly recorded.
The software has allowed Naylors Finance to reduce their internal staffing levels drastically whilst continuing to grow their business. This has been achieved partly by an increase in their business processes’ efficiency and by the quality of service they are able to provide their customers
Chefs for Chefs were already utilising an off the shelf CRM product through a subscription package. However this software was not tailored to their business which made it difficult to use. Chefs for Chefs were also concerned about the high recurring cost of the software in the long term.
A CRM package was designed to fit their needs specifically which they would not need to pay a recurring subscription for.
The cost of development for a tailored CRM with only the functionality required allowed the upfront cost of development to be less than a year’s subscription for all their staff. In addition due to the software being tailored to their specific business processes has increased efficiency and enforced a higher level of customer service.
TEP Machinery’s business used excel and paper-base documents to record information about their clients and customers. The dilemma of this could then be that data could be lost easily and it was difficult to find the correct information about each record, due to the large amount of data. For the employees, they would have to collect their workload before they went out to the respected jobs. So to make it easier to see where each employee was a timesheet mobile site was needed.
To create two applications; mobile and desktop. The mobile would be used for the remote workers and allow them to create timesheets and to see where they were to conduct site visits for that week. The desktop app would be for all the clients and contacts to be stored and linked.
The software has enabled TEP to have all their information stored in one place and allow them to search easily and filter client information. By creating a bespoke system has allowed TEP to modernize to the 21st century and improve the businesses efficiency.
